Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains what information Calidar, Inc. (“Calidar,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit calidar.com, including the Supplemental Breast Imaging Map at calidar.com/supplemental/, how we use it, and the choices you have.

In short

  • We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site. We do not use it for advertising.
  • We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
  • Visitors in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland get analytics cookies only if they allow them.
  • What you type into the map (such as a ZIP code) stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
  • If you use our contact form, we use what you send only to reply to you.

Information we collect

Information you send us

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. Our server also records the IP address the form was sent from and includes it in the email we receive, to help us spot abuse. The Contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam (see “Services that deliver parts of the site” below). Please do not include medical or other sensitive information in your message.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC. When analytics is allowed, it records information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your approximate location (city, region, and country, derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, screen size, and language. Google Analytics stores a random identifier in cookies so it can tell repeat visits apart. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We see this information only in aggregate reports. Our Google tag is set so that Google Analytics advertising features (ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization) are not used.

Google Analytics keeps event-level data for 2 months (the Google Analytics default) and then deletes it; aggregate reports remain. You can learn how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Services that deliver parts of the site

Like any web request, these services receive your IP address and basic browser information when the relevant page loads, and their own privacy policies apply:

  • Google reCAPTCHA (Contact page) checks whether a form submission comes from a person. It may use cookies set by Google. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
  • Google Fonts (map page) delivers the typefaces used on the map page.
  • Esri ArcGIS Online (map page) delivers the street-map images. Its requests show which map area is being displayed. See the Esri Privacy Statement.

Server logs

Our web hosting provider automatically records standard request logs (such as IP address, date and time, page requested, and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use information

  • To reply to messages you send us.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To keep the site and contact form secure and free of spam.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

  • EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland: analytics cookies stay off unless you choose “Allow” in the banner.
  • Washington State and Nevada: on the map page, analytics cookies stay off for visitors that Google’s location service places in Washington State or Nevada.
  • Everyone: you can allow or decline analytics cookies at any time with the button below. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or block cookies in your browser settings.

When analytics cookies are off, Google may still receive basic signals from our pages that carry no cookie identifier.

Do Not Track: our site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our email (Google, Esri, our web hosting provider, and our email provider), when required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Health information

The site does not ask for health information. The Supplemental Breast Imaging Map is general information, not medical advice, and the searches and filters you use on it are processed in your browser.

Visitors outside the United States

Calidar is based in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies and on our legitimate interests to reply to messages and keep the site secure. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict its use, receive a copy of it, or withdraw consent, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or email system is completely secure.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
